Description

The Woodward 2301E controls the load distribution and speed of generators powered by diesel or gas engines. (In this manual, these power sources are referred to as “prime movers.”) The 2301E is a microprocessor-based digital control designed to include and be compatible with the 2301A and 23010 load sharing controls. The increased software flexibility allows the 2301E to include control functions that would have required additional equipment in previous versions of the 2301A and 2301D control systems. The 2301E is therefore suitable for upgrading existing control systems to add newly installed functionality.

The 2301E will allow soft load transfer when added to or removed from the bus.
