Description
This unit is a DSLC/MSLC gateway model. It is part of the 723 Speed Control/Generation Series manufactured by Woodward Governors. The Model 8280-207 has an input voltage rating of 90 to 150 Vdc (125 Vdc nominal), making it the high voltage version of this unit. For low voltage version see Model 8280-206. 723 Model 8280-207 has load sharing capability and numerous programmable set points. There are several serial ports on the unit, one of which supports a Woodward handheld programmer (part 9907-205, sold separately). The programmer is menu-driven, providing a user-friendly experience for operators without extensive programming knowledge. The 8280-207 has permanent memory of all set points, so no external power is required to retain the data.
