United Automotive Electronics (hereinafter referred to as “United Electronics”) and TE Connectivity (hereinafter referred to as “TE”) held a strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony at United Automotive Electronics Shanghai headquarters. United Electronics General manager Xiong Weiming, deputy general manager Guo Xiaolu, cross-domain control business Department director Wang Qinghua and other senior executives attended the signing ceremony. On the TE side, Thomas Shen, Senior Vice President and General manager of Asia Pacific Automotive Business Unit, Field Sun, Vice President and General Manager of China Automotive Business Unit, and Eric Zheng, Sales Marketing Director of China Automotive Business Unit, were present. At the ceremony, the two sides jointly committed to the design and optimization of the system under the regional electrical and electronic architecture reached a cooperative consensus, in order to achieve complementary advantages, achieve vehicle intelligent power distribution and wiring harness system optimization under the trend of regional architecture, promote the regional architecture of cross-domain integration, and establish a mutually beneficial strategic partnership.
United Electronics is a well-known system integrator in the automotive industry, and this cooperation not only highlights TE’s customer recognition in the industry, but also focuses on the domain controller field, which is an important area where TE has integrated superior technologies and exerted technical synergies in recent years. Based on Press-fit technology, equipment, pins, as well as low-voltage connectors and high-speed high-frequency connectors, and supported by the overall harness architecture design from device to product, TE is able to provide customers with excellent total solutions in the field of domain controllers. The two sides announced that based on their respective advantages, they will jointly design and optimize E-fuse, wiring harness and load matching schemes in intelligent power distribution scenarios, jointly pre-study the application of new platform connectors for next-generation area controllers, accelerate the optimization of vehicle intelligent power distribution systems, and realize the landing application of a new generation of electronic and electrical architecture.
