S800
The S800 I/O is a wide-range, distributed and modular I/O system that communicates with the host controller via a standard industrial fieldbus and is installed in the field, connecting sensors and actuators. The S800 I/O can help users reduce installation costs by reducing wiring. During system operation, S800 I/O also supports hot swap and hot configuration at run time. The high redundancy performance makes the S800 I/O suitable for more demanding applications. For harsh environments, the IO module is fully G3 rated for ISA-S71.04, ensuring that the S800I/O remains adaptable for demanding process measurement and control system applications. In addition, the pass-through feature of the S800 VO module enables engineers to directly configure and diagnose HART instrumentation equipment in the control system engineering tools.
