Description
1. ABB robot input and output module gradually uses ABB DSQC1032 to replace the original DSQC652 module.

7. Module Power Supply in the figure above indicates the power supply for module DSQC1032 and module
DSQC1032. 24v and 0v are required.
8. “Process Power Supply” in the figure above supplies power to DI and DO points of DSQC1032. At the
same time, the “process power supply” also provides the communication power supply between DSQC1032
and DSQC1032. The DSQC1032 and DSQC1032 communicate via an optocoupler between modules. If the “process
power supply” is not connected, the DSQC1032 and DSQC1032 cannot communicate, and the robot system cannot find DSQC1032.
9. When DSQC1032 and DSQC1032 are used for the first time, the following screen will appear on the robot:
1) If it is a new module, prompt “Create”, then you can modify the creation module and automatically configure the signal
name prefix;
2) If the module hardware configuration changes, “Update Device” is displayed.
10. You can click Connected to Add-On in the figure above to view the found hardware.
11. After the configuration is complete, the system prompts you to restart.
12. After the restart, you can view the following signals on the input and output screens:
The MaximumLogical Value can be modified, for example, to configure the control welding machine current of 30~500A,
it can be modified to 500 here.
Because the DSQC1032 analog resolution is 12 bits, if you select unsigned, the MaximumBit Value system defaults to 4095
(that is, 12 bits). Do not change to other data such as 65535, otherwise the module will discard the extra bits of data.
