ABB IPMON01 Harmony Modular Power System II has a flexible design that can be easily adapted to the needs of the application.

ABB IPMON01 When using two power supplies, the Modular Power System II can be divided into two sections, each with four power module slots. This 2N split architecture provides the highest level of power availability. Each section provides only 50% of the load under normal conditions, but is capable of delivering 100% of the load under fault conditions. Low stress at 50% capacity ensures long service life.

While only one power supply is used to provide safe power to the Modular Power System II, the two parts of the split architecture are tied together to provide an N+x power architecture. Each power module is powered by one power supply and shares the load equally.
