The DS200SIOCG1A is an ARCNET LAN connection board manufactured by General Electric and is part of the Mark V series used in gas turbine control systems. The DS200SIOCG1A terminal board is used to connect the ARCNET data link between the main controller, IOS, protection module and the mark V turbine control panel. Coaxial cable is used for termination. Each ACNA can be ended with two coaxial cables. Connector ARCPL is only used for ARCNET models. The ARCNET board is a simple PCB with two BNC connectors that can be easily installed and removed on a Mark V or EX2000 drive system as it is located externally. The DS200SIOCG1A includes four metal film resistors (R1/R2/R3/R4), two transistors, a diode and three capacitors (C1/C2/C3). Two metal holes on either side of the card form the circuit board. GND1 and GND2 are the names of these. Two communications relay devices are located in the center of the board. The relay schematics are printed on the upper surfaces of both components.
A six-pin male vertical pin terminal connector is located on the centerline of the circuit board, and two BNC female plugs complete the ARCNET connection card. These plugs are designed to make LAN communication easier.
