Brief introduction:

The baseplate of the PM856A controller has two RJ45 Ethernet ports (CN1 and CN2) for connecting to the control network, and two RJ45 serial ports (COM3 and COM4). One of the serial ports (COM3) is an RS-232C port with a modem control signal, while the other port (COM4) is isolated and used to connect to configuration tools.
Simple DIN track connection/discharge procedure, using only slide & lock mechanism. All base plates have unique Ethernet addresses, and each CPU has a hardware ID. The address can be found on the Ethernet address label connected to the TP830 base plate.
