The SPAU140C relay contains two identical stages that operate as separate units. Two stage synchronous check relay has two parallel functions: synchronous check function and voltage check function. The SPAU140C sync check relay can be used in two different operating conditions, the most typical of which is that the circuit breaker is switched off on both sides. Then, always check the synchronization before the circuit breaker is allowed to turn off. In the other case, one or both sides of the circuit breaker to be closed are dead, so the frequency and phase difference cannot be measured.
