Description

The Triconex communication interface module TCMI is a Honeywell standard offering an interface between fault-tolerant Ethernet (FTE). Based on the Enhanced General Control Network (EUCN) and Triconex TRICON security management system. The TCMI is a redundant device capable of: • two-way communication with Triconex 10.3 and above systems. Perform data mapping of TRICON memory tables to EUCN format • Data conversion to EUCN data types (tags. Parameters), engineering units and EUCN communication functions. • Perform read and write functions to TRICON memory tables. Version number: 10.3, Version number: 10.4, Version number: 10.5

TCMI functions the same as the Honeywell Security Management Module (SMM) in Tricon, but the entire EUCN. TCMI converts Triconex data to EUCN data types (Tag. Parameter), perform engineering unit conversion, alarm processing, alarm, diagnostic status reporting, EUCN communication functions. The standard TCMI scan period is 0.5 seconds. Operator and application access to TCMI is through Local Control Networks (LCN) and Enhanced ENIM (Network Interface Module). The TCMI module database is configured using th in the TPN Native Window environment.
