Allen-Bradley 1756-inquid t is part of the ControlLogix family of communication modules. It is an Ethernet /IP(Ethernet Industrial Protocol) interface communication module. It supports universal messaging, real-time I/O messaging, and information exchange for applications such as real-time control, time synchronization, and motion. The 1756-inter duct also has a CIP safety standard by allowing simultaneous transmission of safety and control data as well as diagnostic information. It uses advanced communication chips and physical media.
1756-inquid t supports Ethernet /IP communication rates of 10 to 100 Mbps and uses twisted pair copper cable media. It supports 256 Logix and 128 TCP/IP communication connections. It can support integrated motion of up to 8 axes over Ethernet /IP networks and consume 1 A current at 5.1 volts DC. It has a maximum power consumption of 5.1 watts and a heat dissipation of 17.4 BTU/ hour. It can be installed in any slot in the ControlLogix case. For wiring, it uses an unshielded RJ45, Category 5, twisted pair cable connector to interface with the controller. To run an Ethernet /IP network, you need parameters such as an IP address, subnet mask, and gateway. Must be defined. The 1756-t bridge has various features, such as support for messaging, distributed I/O, and tagging. It encapsulates the message in the standard TCP/IP protocol. The ControlNet and DeviceNet network protocols allow it to share a common application layer. It does not require any scheduling or routing tables to store information. Additional features include protected mode, electronic key, device level ring network, and parallel redundant protocol network support.
1756-inter duct is a ControlLogix communication adapter that supports Ethernet I/P protocol. The module is a single-slot module that can be installed into any slot in the ControlLogix chassis. It has one (1) RJ45 port for Ethernet connection.

The module can accommodate up to 256 Logix and 128 TCP/IP connections.
The module is capable of connecting to a network with a linear topology and supports 10/100 Mbps communication rates. It is compatible with any ControlLogix chassis, such as 1756-A4, 1756-A7, 1756-A10, 1756-A13, 1756-A17, as well as ControlLogix power supplies, Such as 1756-PA72, 1756-PA75, 1756-PB72, 1756-PB75, 1756-PC75, 1756-PH75.
