Compatible detachable junction boards (RTB) used with the 1756-IF16H are the 1756-TBCH and 1756-TBS6H.

The calibration accuracy of 1756-IF16H is better than 0.13% of all filter ranges, while the module error is 0.3% of the range. Module input scan time is 11… 328 ms, depending on the filter, while the module HART scan time is estimated to be 1 s if HART is enabled for all channels.

1756-IF16H allows you to choose which of three data formats to use: analog only, Analog and HART PV, and analog and HART by channel. Choosing the right data format is important because it determines which values are included in a module’s input tags and which features are available to the application. Analog only format has only analog signal values and analog states. Analog and HART PV are recommended when you want the members of the tag to be arranged like non-HART analog input modules.
