The 1756-L73XT is a 1756 series ControlLogix processor unit manufactured by Allen Bradley. The controller offers scalable solution needed for addressing many I/O points. It can be placed into any slot of a ControlLogix I/O point and also install multiple controllers on the same chassis. This module comes with 0.98 MB Input / Output memory and an 8MB user memory. The 1756-L73XT functions similarly to other ControlLogix modules consisting of a control and communication system that is coated to protect against harsh and corrosive environments. Used with the FLEX I/O-XT, the 1756-L73XT has the ability to withstand temperatures ranging from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius. The 1756-L73XT has an irreplaceable battery that requires 800 Milliamps of current draw at 5.1 Volts AC. The maximum I-O Memory for the 1756-L73XT is 0.98 Megabytes while the Maximum Analog I-O is 4000. The maximum digital I-O for the 1756-L73XT has been rated as 128,000.
The Power dissipation for the 1756-L73XT is 2.5 Watts and also comes with thermal dissipation of 8.5 BTU per hour. It has an isolation voltage of 30 Volts Continuous providing basin insulation from USB port to backplane and has been tested and proven to withstand up to 500 Volts AC for up to 60 Seconds. It has a USB port that can reach up to 12 Megabytes per Second. It comes with full support for controller redundancy with various communication protocols. The communication options features EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Data Highway Plus™, Remote I/O, SynchLink™ and other third party device networks. The 1756-L73XT comes with an optional nonvolatile memory of 1 GB and supports any module location. The operating temperature for the 1756-L73XT is -25 to 70 degrees Celsius while the storage temperature is -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity for the 1756-L73XT is 5 to 95% noncondensing.
