The Allen Bradley 1756-L55M14 is the ControlLogix 555 controller. The Series A controller has a 3.5 Megabyte usable data and logic storage and 208 kilobytes of I/O storage. It should be noted that the 1756-L55M14 controller does not have non-volatile memory.
The controller is placed in the ControlLogix 1756 case with an open case. The controller itself weighs 0.36 kg or 12.8 oz. Its battery can be replaced with a 1756-BA1 lithium battery. You should remember to replace the battery in your controller only if necessary. The only serial cable compatible with the 1756-L55M14 controller is the 1756-CP3 or 1747-CP3 cable.
The controller is capable of supporting various communication modes such as SynchLink, DH-485, Modbus via ladder routines, universal Remote V/O Serial, Data Highwa Plus, DeviceNet,ControlNet, and EtherNet/IP. It can also be used for redundant systems as long as it is paired with the same controller and located in the same ControlNet network.

It has conducted RF immunity of 10V rms, 1 kHz sine wave 80% AM, and frequency range of 150 KHZ to 80 MHz.
The 1756-155M14 controller operates in a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. It also has a storage temperature of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. Its non-condensing relative humidity is between 5% and 95%. The controller also has a 30 g operational shock and 50 g non-operational shock. Its vibration at 10 to 500Hz is 2 g.
