1756-RMC1 Optical fiber communication cable
Allen-Bradley 1756-RMC1 is the fiber optic communication cable needed to connect the ControlLogix redundant modules. It is one meter or 3.28 feet long. It is part of the Bulletin 1756-RMCx cable line and comes in a variety of lengths. These are compatible with standard and extreme environment modules. One or two of these cables are required to build the ControlLogix redundant controller system. Because redundant modules and cases do not come with these connectors, order them separately before the system is assembled.
The cable for the 1756-RMC1 redundant module is connected to the bottom of the module in the downward direction. Remove the protective cover before connection. Because it includes fiber optics, don’t make sharp turns on the cable. LC connector Coupler can be used to prevent cable bending.
