2094-BC04-M03-S is a Kinetix 6000 drive system module. The assembly, manufactured by Allen-Bradley, is designed to be used as an integrated shaft module for a frequency converter. The module’s rated output is 53 watts at 20% load, 72 watts at 40% load, 93 watts at 60% load, 116 watts at 80% load, and 142 watts at 100% load.
The module has a converter and inverter section. The output rating for the converter section is 28kW and 30 amps for the inverter. This module is also called an AM power module. It comes with wiring plug connectors for motor power supply (MP) and motor/resistance brake power supply (BC). The module does not provide connector kit input and output interfaces with catalog numbers 2090-K6CK-D44M and 2090-K6CK-D44S0, safety and auxiliary feedback signals, and motor feedback with catalog number 2090-K6CK-D15M.
Grounding jumper Settings are not always required when using this module. However, ungrounded or high impedance power supply configurations require ground jumper Settings. To set the ground jumper Settings, remove the Integrated Access Module (IAM) from the power rail, turn on the power module and change the jumper position to the appropriate position. By default, the module is set to the grounded position, where P16 and P17 are short-circuited, while the ungrounded P18 and P19 terminals are short-circuited.
When installing the 2094-BC04-M03-S, install the integrated Ascus module first, and then the IPIM, Ascus, shunt, and slot filling modules. The IAM must be installed on the leftmost side of the power supply rail. Other modules are on the right of IAM.
This module is designed to provide Kinetix integrated motion solutions for your drive, motor and actuator applications.
The 2094-BC04-M03-S features safe torque-off for 200V or 400V class AC input power supplies. It contains an inverter and a converter section. Peak enhancement is available for 400V class (B and C series)2094-BC04-M03-S IAM modules. The 2094-BC04-M03-S frequency converter can be connected to the ground jumper.
