GE/Bently Nevada 3500/15 Series power supplies are low-profile modules that must be installed in specially designed slots on the left side of the rack. The 3500 rack can contain one or two power supplies (any combination of AC and/or DC), either power supply can power the entire rack. If a backup power supply is installed, the backup power supply will act as backup power to the main power supply. When two power supplies are installed in a rack, the power supply in the lower slot acts as the primary power supply and the power supply in the upper slot acts as the backup power supply. Removal or insertion of either power supply module will not interrupt the operation of the rack as long as the second power supply is installed.

The 3500 power supply accepts a wide range of input voltages and converts them to voltages acceptable to other 3500 modules. The 3500 Series Machinery Protection System is available in the following three power supply versions: AC power supply, 2. High voltage DC power supply 3. Low voltage DC power supply.
