For non-contact vibration and displacement measurement on oil film bearing machines, the 3300 XL 11 mm vortex

sensor has an output of 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil). It has a larger 11 mm probe head compared to the 3300 XL8 mm

sensor system, which gives it a greater linear range. The 3300 XL 11 mm eddy current sensor is mainly used in the

following applications where a larger linear measurement range is required:
Axial (thrust) position measurement
Steam turbine slope differential expansion measurement
Piston rod position or rod settlement measurement on reciprocating compressors
Speed or zero speed measurement
Phase reference (key phase) signal
The 3300 XL 11mm preprocessor is designed to replace the 7200 series 11mm and 14mm sensor systems. When

upgrading from a 7200 series system to a 3300 XL 11mm system, every component had to be replaced with a 3300 XL

11mm system. In addition, monitoring systems must be updated. The 3500 monitoring system requires an updated version

of the configuration software so that the 3300 XL 11mm options can be listed in the configuration software.
