Technical Description MMS6120:

MMS6120 is a double-channel bearing vibration measurement module, its working principle is shown in Figure 1, and the wiring diagram is shown in Figure 3 to Figure 5. 1. Signal input
The MMS6120 has two independent electrical speed sensor signal inputs — SENS 1H (z8)ISENS 1L(z10) and SENS 2H (d8)/SENS 2L(d10). The matching speed sensor is the PR926× series electric sensor produced by epro, Germany. The input voltage range is -5… +15 V dc .
The module provides each sensor with a 0… The 8mA lifting coil current compensates for mechanical settling of the sensor coil. SENS 1+(z6) ISENS 1-(b6) or SENS2 +(d6) /SENS2-(b8) is available in the configuration.
The sensor signals can be detected on the SMB interface on the front panel of the module.
In addition, the module also has a key signal input (must be greater than 13V), the signal is necessary for speed control mode and spectrum analysis.
2. Signal output a. Eigenvalue output
The module has two current outputs representing characteristic values: l1+(z18)/l1-(b18) and l2+(z20)/ l2-(b20), which can be set to 0… 20mA or 4… 20mA.

Module provides two 0… 20 Vpp dynamic signal output AC1(z14)IAC2 (z16) for spectrum analysis. 0… 20 Vpp corresponds to the range of the eigenvalues.
Limit monitoring
a. Alarm value
Each channel can set alarm value and danger value respectively. The alarm switch is triggered when the measured value rises. In order to avoid the change of the measured value near the limit value to trigger the alarm repeatedly, the alarm lag value can be set in the full scale

b. Limit multiplier and multiplier factor ×
Under special circumstances, such as the over-critical speed, the vibration amplitude will be large or even exceed the limit, but at this time the unit is in normal operation state. In order to avoid unnecessary alarm or jump-off, the limit multiplier function can be activated in the software, and the multiplier factor X(1.00~5.00) can be set to improve the alarm value. d18 should be low when using this feature. The multiplication factor × affects both the alarm value and the danger value.
