FBM241C FOXBORO 8 channel contact input, 8 channel discrete output
The compact FBM241, FBM241c, and FBM241d each have eight discrete inputs and eight discrete outputs. Compact channel isolation, the discrete I/O interface module (Compact FBM241/c/D) has eight discrete input channels and eight discrete output channels. The associated terminal components (TAs) support discrete input or output signals at voltages up to 60v DC, 120v / 125V AC, or 240v AC. Depending on the type of I/O signal required, TAs contains current limiter devices, fuses, relays, or relay outputs with internal or external power sources and fuses. There are three different types of the module, each with its associated tas supporting the following discrete inputs and outputs:
I/O Compact FBM24115 ~ 60v dc, 125v dc, 120v dc or 240v ac switch (external or internal power supply)
The voltage is 15v to 60v, and the voltage is 30v
Voltage is 5 A, or voltage is 125 V dc, voltage is 0.5 A, or
The voltage is 120v and the voltage is 240v

FBM241d 15 to 60v dc contact 12v dc at 12ma switch (internal power supply) Each type of fieldbus module (FBM) has no signal regulation and uses 15 to 60 V DC input or output signals. Each discrete input and output is electrically isolated from other channels and the ground. When using an external excitation, each discrete input and output is group isolated. The module performs the signal conversion required to interface electrical input signals from the field sensor to the optional redundant field bus. It performs discrete I/O or trapezoidal logic programs with the following configurable options: input filtering time, fail-safe configuration, fail-safe fallback, continuous or instantaneous output. If the instantaneous output configuration is selected, the pulse output interval is also configurable.
