Product Description
GE Multilin relay model 269PLUS-DO-100N-120 is a motor management relay with a wide range of features and protection functions that make it a suitable choice for a variety of AC motor protection applications. This relay model has a 100 Ohm nickel RTD and a 120 VAC power control voltage. GE Multilin 269 PLUS relays are available in other configurations if these specs don’t meet your application requirements.
The microcomputer-controlled 269PLUS-DO-100N-120 relay has a keypad and a 48-character alphanumeric display for programming the relay, monitoring operations, reviewing and troubleshooting alarm conditions, and more. If any malfunctions are discovered during the 269PLUS-DO-100N-120 relay’s built-in self-test routine, the alarm indicator on this front panel alerts operators of service requirements. Information stored in the relay’s non-volatile memory is also accessed through the keypad and display.
Relay setpoints, learned parameters, and pre-trip values are stored in non-volatile memory, ensuring they remain intact in the event control power is lost. Also stored in non-volatile memory is a statistical record of the motor. This includes:
- Motor running hours (total)
- MegaWattHours (total)
- Motor starts
- Relay trips
GE Multilin 269 PLUS relays come in two versions with several variations among each version. The two versions are Standard and Drawout. 269PLUS-DO-100N-120 is a Drawout (DO) model, meaning it can be removed from service without causing motor shut-down. There are a few differences between Standard and Drawout versions of the 269 PLUS relays. DO models such as the 269PLUS-DO-100N-120 have only one set of alarm contacts, and one set of Auxiliary 1 contacts, and does not meet CE compliance requirements.
GE Multilin 269 Plus Motor Management Relay Instruction Manual 1601-0013-D3 should be consulted for full compliance information and details on the differences between the two versions.
