Product Description
DS200RTBAG2AFB is a relay terminal board (RTBA) designed for General Electric’s Mark V board series

. This board can be used in applications across several GE brand drives and exciters. By installing this bo

ard into a drive cabinet, an additional ten relays are provided to the user. Both the LAN I/O terminal and a r

emote user can drive the relays found on this board.

Locations K20 through K29 are the board positions for all onboard relays. DS200RTBAG2AFB includes tw

o types of relays, DPDT and 4PDT. DPDT type comprises seven of the relays found on the card, including K

20 through K26. These types feature two Form C contacts, with each contact rating 10A. K27 through K29 i

s the second relay type, 4PDT. Rather than two, 4PDT relays include four Form C contacts that each rate 1A

. All ten of these points are protected by a 130 VAC metal oxide varistor (MOV). Each relay contains an intern

al 110 VDC coil that ensures they are operating properly. Should any relay stop functioning or break, the use

r can easily remove and replace all ten spots.

There are two connectors used with the DS200RTBAG2AFB model; one is a sixteen-pin connector, with the other is a two-pin connector. The sixteen-pin connector is labeled as RPL and the two-pin connector is labeled as OPTPL. The OPTPL connector has two nomenclatures X2 and CFX1. The X2 nomenclature will send signals back to the NTB/3TB board of the CFX1 nomenclature 120 VAC loads. This nomenclature is identical to the RPL X2 nomenclature. For all nomenclatures available with the two connectors refer to Tables 3 and 4 in the GEI-10016B manual.

Frequently Asked Questions about DS200RTBAG2AFB
