Installing the DS200SLCCG2A ensures that all I/O sent to and from the drive is accurate and converted correctly. In total, the daughter board provides 12 additional analog inputs to the installed drives. Four other analog outputs are also included. When handling digital I/O, the card provides eight digital I/O positions on the board. Programmable logic devices can also be used when using this drive. The hard drive connected to the controller can be a solid-state drive (SSD) device. SSDS have no moving parts and are therefore more reliable. Reading and writing data is also faster. SSDS use flash memory to store information. HDD technology is slow and prone to wear and tear because it has moving parts. However, you may find that HDD technology is cheaper, but you can choose to use either drive.
