The DS3800NGRA1L1D is a General Electric manufactured regulator circuit board. DS3800NGRA1L1D is part of the Speedtronic Mark IV series of turbine controls. The DS3800NGRA1L1D contains many multicolored striped resistors. The board contains several black EPROMs. The board features two blue 218A4637PF 34-pin connectors, two black female ports, a yellow 708A1 200V film capacitor and three silver capacitors.
Also found on the board are LM308AJ operational amplifiers. The LM308AJ can operate with voltages from 2V to 18V and has enough supply rejection to use unregulated supplies. The operater can use an alternate compensation scheme to make the device insensitive to power supply noise and to make supply bypass capacitors unnecessary. The LM308AJ has a low current error, which allows for designs possible that would not be possible with conventional amplifiers. The LM308AJ has performances between 0 degrees celsius to 70 degrees celsius.
The DS3800NGRA1L1D has a LM311 voltage comparator. The LM311 voltage comparator has input currents almost 1000 times lower than other devices, and is designed to operate over a wider range of supply voltages. The LM311 can drive lamps or relays and switch voltages up to 50V at currents as high as 50mA. The LM311 is much less prone to spurious oscillations than devices like the LM106 and LM710. The LM311 also has a temperature range of 0 degrees celsius to 70 degrees celsius.
