The DS3800NGTA1F1E is a printed circuit board (PCB) developed by GE as a component in their Mark IV system. The Mark IV was created for steam/gas turbine management and relies on integrated chipsets built with intentional redundancies in order to minimize downtime caused by electronics failure. It does this by building in ‘backups’ for all primary components. The Mark IV can be used to automate some procedures (such as startup and cool down,) and can also be used for emissions monitoring.
The DS3800NGTA1F1E is built with twenty-five integrated circuits. This includes dual retriggerable one-shots that are DC triggered from active-high transition or active-low transition inputs (DTL/TTL compatible,) and hex inverters with switching characteristics and propagation delay time of 10 to 15ns.
The DS3800NGTA1F1E has the following components:
- -toggle switch
- -three trim potentiometers
- -three resistor networks
- -four light emitting diodes (LEDs)
- -two transistors
- -five (TP) test points
The DS3800NGTA1F1E is built with various capacitors and resistors. Larger capacitors tend to be made of polyester film and are designed with through-hole axial leads. Resistors on the DS3800NGTA1F1E are usually made of ceramic-covered metal film.
The DS3800NGTA1F1E is alignment marked. It is factory-drilled. It has two communication connectors connected to the board, one female, and one male. The female connector is marked 218A4553-1 Amp 533002-1.
