The IC697BEM733 is the Genius remote I/O scanner for the GE 90-70 series, mounted on a remote IC697 rack and connected to the IC697 I/O module to the IC66* bus. Features include a positioning distance of 7,500 feet or 2,275 meters from the controller. It supports discrete and analog I/O modules, as well as PCM, ADS, and analog cascade modules. The IC697BEM733 can process up to 128 input/output bytes per remote output (consisting of a remote I/O scanner and corresponding modules). A remote airdrop can consist of up to eight racks connected by a bus transmitter and a bus receiver. A rack with 9 or 5 slots is appropriate. In a remote landing, the distance from the first shelf to the last shelf is no more than 50 feet or 15 meters.
