The IC697MDL241 Input Module is a discrete input module manufactured by GE Fanuc as part of Series 90-70.

It operates on 240 Volts AC voltage rating and it features 16 separate isolated points with an input filter time of 20 milliseconds and proximity switch compatibility.

This module is designed and intended for use with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and each isolated input can function as a single AC supply phase.

The users can configure the I/O references and DIP jumpers or switches are not required.

These configurations can be completed through the configuration functionality of the Windows or MS-DOS programming software that runs on the Windows

NT or Windows 95 operating system through the SNP port or Ethernet TCP/IP port.

The programming software configuration function is preinstalled.

The IC697MDL241 Module is matched with a collection of input devices such as limit switches, selector switches,

pushbuttons, and 2-wire and 3-wire electronic proximity switches.

The IC697MDL241 Module has capacitive input circuitry that ensures that there is low heat dissipation, and this contributes to the reliability and long life of the module.

It has a typical input current of 10 milliamps in the on-state and it can also sink a leakage current of up to 5 milliamps in the off-state.
