The IC200CHS022 is the carrier module for Emerson Automation’s VersaMax product family. This module, in combination with the VersaMax I/O module, provides wiring terminals for the terminals of the input and output devices, depending on the type of module installed.

IC200CHS022 can also be referred to as Terminal base. It features 36 spiral terminals designed to accommodate AWG # 14 to AWG #22 solid or stranded copper in a single terminal for single wire connections and AWG #18 for two (2) wire connections for terminal short circuits. Carriers’ terminals are labeled A1-A18 and B1-B18 for proper grouping. Each terminal is rated for 0-264 VAC, 2 amps per terminal, and 8 amps per ground and power supply section. Each terminal is also designed to withstand transient voltages up to 300 VAC.

The IC200CHS022 offers flexibility and modularity as it allows for replacement or servicing of a hosted VersaMax I/O module without removing existing wiring to the carrier module. In this way, troubleshooting time is significantly reduced, especially control system or module downtime. The carrier module also provides mounting components, such as DIN slots or panel mounts, to hold the carrier module in place along the paired I/O module.

The IC200CHS022 comes with a clip that can be hinged to the terminal wiring. It also has a booth that locks the I/O module into place. During operation, the booth must be in the retractable direction.

GE Fanuc IC200CHS022 carrier is the Versamax family compact box type I/O carrier. The IC200CHS022 carrier includes 36 IEC box terminals. The module provides field wiring, installation, and backplane communication for a Versamax I/O module mounted vertically on the IC200CHS022 carrier. The IC200CHS022 carrier is 66.8 x 70 x 163.5 mm. The IC200CHS022 bracket has a built-in holder that can be hinged to the terminal wiring. Modules are provided with wiring cards into which they can be inserted. When the system is running, the booth should be in the retracted position. Each terminal on the IC200CHS022 carrier can accommodate single or double wires. Stranded or solid copper wire can be used for terminal wiring.
