Description

The GE Fanuc IC693ALG220 input module is equipped with a limited current input mode, and jumpers on each channel’s user termination connector. The user can use a jumper wire to connect the internal 250 ohm shunt resistor to the circuit. This shunt resistor allows an input range of -40 to +40 mA. However, the user must continuously monitor the input current to prevent self-heating of the input resistors, which could negatively affect current accuracy. The main power supply for the GE Fanuc IC693ALG220 CAV input module is an isolated +24 volt DC power supply from the PLC power supply. The voltage is sent through a regulator/inverter to generate the voltage required for the operation of the IC693ALG220 module. The IC693ALG220 input module has an LED to show the user its operating status.
