Technical Description IC693MDL340：

The IC693MDL340 is a 120 volt, 0.5 amp AC output module manufactured in the 90-30 series by GE Fanuc. It provides 16 output points in two separate groups of 8 points each. Each group has a separate common ground associated with it (the IC693MDL340 does not integrate these two common places internally), allowing each group to be used in conjunction with a separate AC power source. Alternatively, the same power source can be used to power two common places. Each set has a 3 amp fuse for protection, and each output has a RC buffer to protect them from transient electrical noise from the power line. The module also has 85 to 132 volts AC, a 50/60 Hertz output voltage range, and a maximum output current of 0.5 amperes per point. The maximum current of each set is 3 amps.
The IC693MDL340 provides high surge current, enabling its output to control a variety of loads, including inductive and incandescent loads. The user must provide AC power to operate the load connected to the output. The module works only with AC power. The IC693MDL340 has LED lights on the top to indicate the on/off status of each point. In addition, it has two horizontal lines with eight green leds on each line and a final LED in the middle of the two lines. Eight leds at the top, labeled A1 through 8, indicate output status. The red “F” LED lights up, indicating a blown fuse. Leds will not function unless there is a load attached to a blown fuse.
The IC693MDL.340 has an insert that separates the inner and outer surfaces of the larger chain gate. Once this door is closed, circuit wiring information will be displayed on the inner surface of the module and circuit identification information can be found on the outer surface. The outer left edge of the plug-in is red, indicating a high-voltage module. The IC693MDL340 module can be installed in any of the I/O slots in the 5 or 10 slot baseboard of a 90-30 series PLC system.
The maximum response time of the IC693MDL340 is 1 ms when the IC693MDL340 is enabled, and the maximum response time is a period when the IC693MDL340 is shut down. The power consumption of the five voltage buses on the backplane is 315 mA(when all outputs are on).
