IC693MDL655 GE 24 volt DC positive/negative logic input module

This GE Fanuc IC693MDL655 is a 24 volt DC positive/negative logic input module. The module is designed for use with series 90-30 programmable logic controllers. It has 32 discrete input points divided into four groups of eight. Each group is isolated and has a common denominator between the eight points. All input points on the module have a maximum operating voltage of 30V. They can operate with either positive or negative logic. There is an optical coupler on the module that provides backplane isolation between the field end and the logical end. This is in addition to the isolation of each group of inputs. There is an LED block at the top of the module, and each of the 32 points on the module has a corresponding on/off status indicator. When using the IC693MDL655 field device, the user can connect the power supply or use the isolated +24VDC power supply, which is available from the /O connector on the module.
The user can install the input module on the baseplate of the 90-30 series PLC system – it can work in any /O bracket. At the front of the module, there are two 24-pin plugs. These enable the user input device to connect to the input circuit. The right connector provides interfaces for groups A and B, while the left connector provides interfaces for groups C and d. To connect from the connector to the field equipment, a cable with a tinned wire at one end and a matching female connector at the other must be used. Product models IC693CBL327 and IC693CBL328 are pre-wired cables that users can use in applications.
