Description
The IC697MDL653 is a Positive / Negative Logic Input Module with 32 points. This 24 VDC module is manufactured by GE for the 90-70 Series. Its 32 input points are arranged in four isolated sets comprised of eight points. Additional features of the IC697MDL653 include Positive/Negative Logic and proximity switch compatibility, a selectable input filter, and a single input configured as an interrupt. These features are common in all IC697 PLCs. The features may, however, not be applicable when IC697MDL653 is coupled with other types of PLCs. The IC697MDL653 module also comes equipped with LED indicators on its faceplate to alert the user to the module’s status. These LEDs indicate the on/off status of each point on the PLC side of the circuit.
