The IS200BICIH1A unit was manufactured and designed by General Electric and made to be a part

of the GE Mark VI series. The IS200BICIH1A unit is classified as an interface card meant for use wit

h the GE Mark VI series of SPEEDTRONIC Mark VI Turbine Control Systems, which is a system des

igned to completely integrate control, protection, and monitoring for generator and mechanical drive a

pplications that operate gas and steam turbines.

The IS200BICIH1A interface card controls the interfaces for the General Electric SPEEDTRONIC Mark

VI Turbine Control System. There is an I/O Interface and an Operator Interface. The aforementioned

I/O interface is comprised of two versions of the unit’s termination boards. One of these termination

boards has two 24 point, barrier type terminal blocks which can be unplugged whenever a field maint

enance event must occur. They are ready for Simplex and also TMR controls and have the ability to a

ccept two 3.0 millimeter squared wires with 300-volt insulation. The Operator Interface, most commonly k

nown as the Human Machine Interface (or HMI) is simply a PC which runs a Microsoft Windows NT oper

ating system, which has supporting client-server capability, a control system toolbox for maintenance, a

CIMPLICITY graphics display system, a software computing interface for the Mark VI, and even more v

arious control systems included with the network that can be used at any point.

This Bridge Interface Controller Board works within an Innovation Series board rack. It interfaces to the CABP Control Assembly Backplane Board via the P1 and P2 backplane connectors. This board has nineteen auxiliary boards soldered to its surface including AOCA Analog Comparator modules and DVAA Dual Voltage Controlled Oscillator Modules.
