The IS200BLIGH1AAB functions as a LAN Interface-GENIUS board. This board is used to make up half of both the Auxiliary Genius BUS Interface Module (IS215GBIAH) and the Auxiliary Profibus-DP Interface Module (IS215PBIAH.) Both modules perform the same task: to provide integration between the drive and the controller, but on different types of networks. The setup of the card and the secondary card that will complete the module will depend on the type of network the user is currently running.

The IS200BLIGH1AAB is designed with five board connectors. These include the P8 backplane connector, which connects the board to the rack system. The P1, P2, and P3 connectors are used to connect the board to secondary cards. Some connectors are not used in certain setups. Secondary cards are mounted to the IS200BLIGH1AAB using standoffs.

The IS200BLIGH1AAB is built with three LED (light emitting diodes,) including two that are located on its front panel. One of these indicators is labeled “OK” on both modules. The second LED may be labeled either “COMM OK” or “DIAGNOSTIC.” The third LED is located on the surface of the board and indicates power to the P5 power supply.
