About IS215UCVBG1A
The IS215UCVBG1A works within Innovation Series drive control racks. The controller has a front faceplate with several components mounted in it, including a Genius bus interface, a DLAN+ interface, two COM ports, a 9-pin D connector, and an Ethernet connector. One of these COM ports is used for diagnostics, while the other is used for DCS and serial protocols. There is also a reset switch and eight status LEDs that are labeled Active, Slot 1, BMAS, ENET, BSLV, Status, FLSH, and GEN. The ethernet interface in this drive uses TCP/IP protocols for communication to and from the toolbox.
