On page twenty-two of the GEH-6725 Instruction Guide, there is a small table that labels the electrical/power supply ratings needed to power the IS420UCSBH1A, the ratings are as follows, a minimum voltage of eighteen direct currents, with a maximum of thirty volts of direct current, the nominal power rating is twenty-four and twenty-eight volts of direct current. The maximum current rating used with this device is 1.5 ADC.

When being mounted there are several certifications that are required to mount the IS420UCSBH1A controller in hazardous and non-hazardous locations alike. For example, when mounted in ATEX Zone 2, Group IIC, the certification needed is UL DEMKO 12 ATEX 1114875X. All certifications regarding the controller being mounted in Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC, non-hazardous, and Class I, Division 2, Groups, A, B, C, and D are the same, the certification requirements for these locations are UL E207685.
