PCH1026 GE Acceleration acceleration sensor
All PCH 1026 units with serial # 2006490003 or lower are always of the type Mk1. All units withserial # 2006490004 or higher can be either Mk1 or Mk2 versions.
The general wind turbine vibration monitoring main functionality of the Mk1 and Mk2 version is thesame.However,the Mk2 version has the additional feature that optional Shock Safety Detection(SSD) can be included.
However, the internal hardware and firmware of the Mk2 version is very much different from that ofthe Mk1 and for that reason only CHT 1024 software having a version number 3.35 or higher willfunction with the PCH 1026 Mk2.
The CHT 1024 v3.35 software is backwards compatible with the PCH 1024 Mkl so there is no needto install two versions of the CHT 1024 software on the PC in case the user has to set-up and controlMk1, as well as Mk2 versions of the monitor.
