SR469-P5-HI-A20-T is a SR469 multi line relay.
The SR469-P5-HI-A20-T has five ampere phase CT secondary and high rated control power (90-300 VDC, 70-265 VAC @ 48-62 Hz) This special unit has a 4-20 mA analog output. It has a standard front panel. The front panel includes a 40 digit LCD display, LED indicators, numeric keypad and other input keys.
The device is equipped with an optional 10BaseT Ethernet port. This helps you connect your device to a 10 Mbps Ethernet. The 10BaseT port is a complement to the three standard serial ports built into the SR469 unit. There is an RS232 port on the front panel. This allows rapid programming and troubleshooting. In addition, there are two RS485 ports on the rear panel of the relay. The three serial ports support ModBus RTU protocol. Due to the addition of Ethernet port, SR469 also supports ModBus RTU through TCP/IP protocol.
The 469 relay is designed to provide voltage and frequency protection. It provides ground fault protection, load loss detection, reverse active power, current imbalance and over torque protection against mechanical damage through two dedicated ground current inputs.

How to input the motor protection settings of GE SR469-P5-HI-A20-T motor relay?
To set the motor protection of the SR469-P5-HI-A20-T motor relay, you must complete it in S6 Current Element Settings in the “Motor Protection” title tab. Some settings of this motor protection should remain disabled, refer to the manual for more information on the settings that need to remain disabled. Press the “Information” key to enter the next setting information. Since the specifications are not numerical values, these settings must remain “off”, and overload alarms, mechanical jams, undercurrents, and phase differences must be turned on in the “off” settings. Refer to the manual, part number 1601-0122-A9, for more specifications of the motor protection settings.

Additional settings can be found on the S7 motor start settings page, where the motor protection title page is located. In the manual, you can find the setting changes of the acceleration timer and the start inhibit element. For these elements, the push rod stop and restart stop need to be set in the “OFF” position. For the start inhibit element in S7 motor start setting, the start inhibit block must be opened, and the TC use margin must be set to 25%. For acceleration timer elements, the acceleration timer trip must be “locked” open, the assigned trip relay must be set to “trip”, and the acceleration timer from start must be set to “13 s” and the acceleration curve at 100% voltage.
