Coupling is a measure of dependencies between modules. Cohesion and cooperation are closely related.
A module with strong coupling to other modules usually means weak cohesion, while a module with
strong cohesion usually means weak coupling to other modules. Module design pursues strong cohesion
and weak coupling. Cohesion is a measure of the degree of cohesion between the components within a module.
Coupling
Coupling refers to the phenomenon that two or more circuit components or the input and output of an
electrical network are closely coupled and interact with each other, and transmit energy from one side to
the other through the interaction. In general, coupling is a measure of the interdependence of two entities on each other. A is as follows:
Indirect coupling: The two modules have no direct relationship to each other, and the connection
between them is achieved solely through the control and invocation of the main module
Data convergence: When a module accesses another module, it exchanges input and output information
with each other through simple data parameters (not control parameters, common data structures, or external variables).
Tag coupling: A set of modules passing record information through a parameter table is tag coupling.
This record is a substructure of a data structure, not a simple variable.
Control coupling: If one module clearly controls the function of selecting another module by transmitting
control information such as switches, flags, names, etc., it is control coupling.
