The Custom Algorithm Block (cab) of the C300 controller provides users with greater flexibility. With cab, users can

create their own blocks of algorithms and add them to the control policy of the C300 controller. These custom blocks

can have user-defined data structures and algorithms that enable developers to develop customized control policies based on specific needs.

The C300 controller shares a hardware design with the Series 8 I/O that offers an innovative way to reduce footprint,

installation and maintenance costs for data streams. This design makes the C300 controller ideal for distributed control

systems requiring high performance, high reliability and innovative design.

The C300 control module is installed on the C300 Input/Output Termination Component (IOTA). IOTA contains only passive

device switches, such as FTE addresses. This design enables the C300 controller to communicate with I/O devices via a

simple cable connection, simplifying installation and maintenance.
