RPS can be used as a redundant backup power source for switches or routers:
If the RPS and the receiving device use the same AC power supply system, the RPS can continue to supply

If the RPS and the receiving device use different AC power supply systems, DC power supply can be
provided when the external AC power supply of the receiving device fails, ensuring the normal running of the device.

Redundant power supply for servers can be configured in many ways, such as:
1+1 Power supply configuration: indicates that the server can work properly with one power supply module. However, it is
configured with two power supply modules, one of which is backed up as a redundant power supply.
2+1 Power supply configuration: indicates that the server can work properly if it has two power modules, but three power
modules are configured. One power module is backed up as a redundant power supply.
2+2 power supply configuration: indicates that the server can work properly with two power supply modules (Psus).
However, in configuration, the server has four Psus, two of which are backed up as redundant Psus.
As for what kind of power configuration a server should use, one depends on how many power modules the server can
connect to, and the other depends on the use and importance of the server. For important servers that are
not suitable for downtime, sufficient redundant power supply should be provided if funds allow.
For a server with redundant power supply modules, when one of the power supply modules fails, the redundant power supply
immediately goes into operation, and the mainboard buzzer sounds an alarm.
