Description
CRIO-9073 NI CompactRIO Controller
CompactRIO controller is an embedded controller based on LabVIEW RIO architecture, equipped with real-time processor and user programmable FPGA.
This controller has a variety of features and advantages. First, its processor core uses the 64-bit Intel Atom E3800
system-on-chip (SoC), which provides extremely high performance and rich features, including an integrated GPU and
multi-core processor. This allows CompactRIO controllers to perform well when handling complex tasks and meet the demands of high throughput and low latency.
Second, the CompactRIO controller uses the latest Xilinx Kintex-7 FPGA, which contains approximately three times more
complex logic blocks and more than 13 times more DSP chips. The FPGA communicates with the processor using the PCI
Express bus, which greatly improves throughput and provides access to 16 DMA channels. This design can better meet the needs of the system for data transmission and processing.
In addition, the software flexibility of the CompactRIO controller is also one of its advantages. It can consolidate the human
interface and control tasks into the same terminal and the same operating system, thus simplifying operation and maintenance. This design can improve work efficiency and reduce costs.
The ruggedness of the CompactRIO controller is also worth noting. Its product range covers a wide range of rugged systems
and single-board rio products that operate stably in harsh environmental conditions. At the same time, its highly integrated and modular design is also easy to maintain and upgrade.
Overall, the CompactRIO controller is a high performance, high throughput, flexible and reliable embedded controller for a
variety of applications requiring high precision and high speed control.
