NI PCI-1424(Part number :777662-01 RS-422/TTL and 777662-02 LVDS/TTL) is a 32-bit resolution, parallel digital frame grabbing device. The device is designed to capture color and grayscale images and control digital cameras. This NI PCI-1424 is the ideal device for capturing high resolution digital images. The device has an internal memory where images are initially processed and stored at a clock speed of 50 MHz, with a cumulative acquisition rate of 200 MB/s. The PCI 1424 frame capture card comes with 16 MB of memory. However, the user can optionally add onboard memory using memory modules. To improve overall throughput, users can take advantage of onboard memory, as it can provide sufficient buffering for large images before transferring them to PC memory.

This NI PCI-1424 comes with NI Vision Acquisition software 8.0 or higher, fully compatible with package/Application development environment (ade), Such as LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Microsoft Visual Basic, NI Vision Builder for Automated Inspection, NI Vision development module and Measurement Studio. NI visual acquisition software comes with NI-IMAQ driver. This frame grabber can be used with the D100 series camera cable, but this depends on the user’s camera. The device has a 100-pin SCSI type I/O connector.
