Ethnic Instrument PCI-6251(part number :779070-01) is a 16-bit resolution, high-speed, multi-functional DAQ board. The model provides excellent accuracy at fast sampling rates of about 1.25 MS/s for single channel and 1 MS/s for multiple channels. This PCI-6251 supports both analog and digital triggering and comes with about 70 signal conditioning options. In addition to the basic functions, the model also offers advanced features. It integrates a NI-PGIA 2 amplifier that provides fast setup times at high scan rates, thus ensuring 16-bit accuracy even when measuring all available channels at the maximum achievable speed. The device is equipped with 16 single-ended or 8 differential input channels, 2 output channels and 24 bidirectional channels.

The national instrument PCI-6251 works with multiple operating systems because it supports three driver software options :NI-DAQmx Base, Measurement Hardware DDK, and NI-DAQmx. Instrument operation also requires an application development environment (ADE) such as LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Measurement Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio. Device software can be configured using the Measurement and Automation Browser (MAX) tool. For a variety of test applications, users can take advantage of the 10 MHz digital line and high speed analog input PCI-6251 band NI signal conditioning. This combination can also be used for sensor measurement and component characterization.
