The device has a maximum system bandwidth of 3 GB/sPXIe 1065 chassis with 9 PXI peripheral slots, 1 PXI fast slot with system timing capability, 3 PXI fast slots, and 4 hybrid slots, which can be used in conjunction with PXI and PXI fast peripheral modules.The modular design of the NI 1065 chassis ensures the highest maintenance standards so that the average maintenance time is very short (MTTR). This PXIe-1065 PXI chassis fully complies with the PXI-5 PXI high-speed hardware specification, as it offers advanced timing and synchronization.

Description

This PXIe-1065 is operated using PXI Platform Services 2.0 or higher and software such as Measurement and Automation Browser (MAX). In addition, it has a 9-pin D-SUB (DB-9) connector, and two BNC I/O connectors on the back of the device are used to supply PXI_CLK10 to the backplane or route PXI_CLK10 from the backplane to another case. Some of the key features of the Nickel PXIe-1065 chassis include instrument requirements for high performance, reliability and multi-chassis support. The nickel PXIE-1065 chassis has up to 1 GB/s dedicated bandwidth (x4 PCIe) per PXI high-speed slot and 30 W cooling power per slot to meet the growing PXIe cooling demand. Low jitter internal 10 MHz and 100 MHz reference clocks operate in conjunction with PXI and PXIe slots with 25 ppm stability, respectively. The PXI chassis operates quietly in a temperature range of 43.6 dBA and 0 to 30°c. The PXIe 1065 case also features a variable speed fan controller that optimizes cooling and noise emissions, as well as remote power suppression control
