The PXIE-8840 is an embedded controller designed for processor-intensive, modular instrumentation and data acquisition
applications. It features two 10/100/1000BASE-TX (gigabit) Ethernet ports, two USB 3.0 ports, and four USB 2.0 ports,
for a variety of applications, including data acquisition, instrument control, real-time testing and automation.

The PXIE-8840 runs with NI-DAQmx driver software that is compatible with packages such as LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI,
or Measurement Studio. In order to ensure stable activity, the inserted LabVIEW real-time application continues to
run regardless of whether the host is interrupted or restarted. With this mode, users can use
extended temperatures and day-to-day activities for applications that require continuous task execution 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
