SCXI-1163R NI Solid state relay, relay switch module
This nickel SCXI-1163R(Part number :776572-63R) relay switch module has 32 Type A (normally open) optically isolated solid-state relays. The relays are divided into eight groups of four, each with a common electrode. This relay switch module can be used to switch high voltage loads up to 240 VAC/VDC and up to 200 mA. This SCXI 1163R module can be used for many types of industrial and laboratory applications. Solid state relay channels can be used to switch various AC and DC voltage and power signals to control field instruments. Accessories available for this module are the SCXI-1326 terminal board, the PXI-4021 switch controller and the PCI-4021 switch controller. In addition, a variety of adapters, cables, and cable assemblies are available for this module. The device is equipped with a 48-pin DIN C male I/O connector.
When programming SCXI-1163R, there are four types of software to choose from :LabVIEW, LabWindows, NI-DAQ, and register level programming software. If the user chooses to use LabVIEW or LabWindows software, this will greatly reduce the development time of the user data acquisition and control application. If users decide to write register-level software, it is recommended that they use a programming language or operating system that is not supported by NI, or that they must be experienced register-level programmers. This relay switch module is CE and UL certified.
Because relays in National Instruments SCXI-1163R relay switch modules are solid state relays, they do not have any moving parts. Therefore, these relays do not have the limited life span of electromechanical relays. To avoid damaging the relay, do not attempt to switch a load above 240 V or 200 mA. The device has a maximum switching current of 200 mA, a maximum operating voltage of 450 V, a maximum leakage current of 1 μA, a weight of 625 g, and a size of 6.8 x 8.0 x 1.2 inches.
