This manual describes the product specifications, operation, programming, and other information for
the A1S68DAV digital-to-analog Voltage conversion module (referred to as A1S68DAV) and the A1S68DAI
digital-to-analog current conversion module (referred to as A1S68DAI) to facilitate use of the MEL.SEC-A series of small CPU module components.
( 1 )A1S68DAV
Used to convert input digital values (16-bit signed binary data) from PC CPU Settings to analog values (voltage output in the range of -10 volts to 10 volts)
(2)A1S68DAI
Used to convert input digital values (16-bit signed binary data) from PC CPU Settings to analog values (current output in the range of 4mA to 20mA)
A1S68DAV and A1S68DAI means “A1S68DAV/DAI” or “Module” in this Manual
A1S68DAV
1.1 Features
(1) 8-channel digital-to-analog conversion is allowed.
The A1S68DAV/DAI can output 8 analog channels (voltage/current) to peripherals.
(2) can be high-speed conversion.
The 8-channel digital-to-analog conversion can be completed in 4 milliseconds.
(3) Analog output on a separate channel is allowed/not allowed.
The analog output of each channel can be set to allow or disallow through the CIS program. The analog output value
of OV or 0mA is provided after the analog output channel is invalid.
(4) Allow analog output Settings to be retained or cleared when the PC CPU is in STOP mode.
Holding analog output while the PCCPU is in STOP mode can be set with the HLD/CLR terminal.
