Technical specification
The CG 6565 product system is designed to integrate PSTN interface, telecommunication protocol, comprehensive IVR function, full-duplex echo cancellation, speech coding, fax processing, conference application, video processing, fast Ethernet interface and packet protocol on a single board. This integration results in an economical and scalable system platform that can meet the needs of OEM suppliers for next-generation converged application solutions with more than 120-way interfaces.

Natural Access

NMS’s Natural Access development and operation environment supports the CG 6565 family of products. Natural Access provides a consistent API application interface across operating systems, thus providing true application system portability. Based on the Natural Call Control application service provided by Natural Access, developers can call a single cross-protocol API application interface, convenient and fast development of application systems that can support a variety of telecommunication interfaces. Natural Call Control uses board control processor to process most protocols, which can significantly reduce the load of host processor. Natural Access provides a unified development environment for NMS’s AG and CG series of boards.

Fusion and media streaming architecture

The NMS Natural Access Fusion service provides support for the CG 6565 series of boards, which can be used to develop IP-based enhanced service applications. The development environment can significantly improve the efficiency of application development and the performance of application system, and more importantly, it provides the extensibility of application system. Fusion provides a common software development environment for IP telecom gateways, IP enhanced service platforms, and wireless IP telecom and video gateways.

Fusion supports mixed calls between IP and PSTN terminals. The application services it supports include: joint communication, prepaid call, conference application and other basic applications; And voice portal, voice browser, wireless web access and other innovative web applications.

Powerful media streaming is a standard application service of Natural Access that provides media channel creation capabilities to provide data transfer between two endpoints. It supports the following endpoints: T1/E1, RTP/IP, and UDP/IP-T.38 fax, and supports various host-based functions, such as recording and playback. The media streaming application service can work with other Natural Access application services, such as Natural Call Control, which provides interfaces for PSTN call control and IVR.

High reliability

The CG 6565 series provides gigabit Ethernet interfaces. They can be used to access two independent subnets. They can also be used in the automatic fault-tolerant transfer mode, which automatically transfers processing traffic to another standby interface without interrupting the current call processing. This function can effectively prevent line and hub failures. Under the CompactPCI model, these interfaces are provided by the tail connector or by the PICMG 2.16 Ethernet interface provided by the motherboard.
