Description

According to the different physical mechanisms used in the measurement principle of vacuum meters, the main
vacuum scores can be divided into three categories, which are the vacuum meters using mechanical properties, the vacuum
meters using the aerodynamic effect and the vacuum meters using the charged particle effect.
Vacuum gauges using mechanical properties are typical Bourdon gauge and thin film capacitance gauge; Typical vacuum
gauges using aerodynamic effects are Pirani resistance gauges and thermocouple gauges. Typical vacuum gauges using the
charged particle effect include hot cathode ionization gauges and cold cathode ionization gauges.
Bourdon gauge
As shown in Figure 1, the thin copper pipe will stretch under different gas pressure, which will drive the lever and gear to
rotate, so that the pointer can be indicated on different scales and the corresponding pressure value can be read.
The measuring range of this gauge is generally 100Pa to 1atm.
